SPCA Tampa Bay is pleased to provide accessible vaccine and microchip services to our community. We host regular vaccine clinics at our Largo animal shelter campus. We offer the following services, and fees are WAIVED with proof of government assistance.
DOGS – Rabies $20, DAPPL $20, and Microchips $20
CATS – Rabies $20, FVRCP $20, and Microchips $20

While we are not able to offer spay/neuter surgeries at this time, it is something we hope to be able to provide in the future.
Does SPCA Tampa Bay offer low-cost treatment for sick pets?
At this time, our services for owned pets include vaccines and microchip implantation. For medical needs beyond what we currently provide, we encourage pet owners to explore the list of low-cost veterinary services available in the area.
Do I need an appointment to have my animal vaccinated/microchipped?
Yes, appointments are required. Registration opens the Monday before each clinic and is available through our website. Spots fill up quickly, so we encourage you to sign up as early as possible.
Are services available to residents outside of Pinellas County?
Yes, our community programs are open to all pet owners regardless of where you live.
Does SPCA Tampa Bay offer emergency boarding for pets?
We understand that unexpected circumstances can make it difficult to care for a pet. Unfortunately, short-term housing resources for pets are limited in Pinellas County. In the meantime, we recommend reaching out to a trusted friend or family member who may be able to care for your pet temporarily, and we are happy to help connect you with any additional resources we’re aware of.
