Caring for your pet shouldn’t be a challenge, and we’re here to lend a hand. 

Pebbles Food Bank at SPCA Tampa Bay

Dedicated to Pebbles and the thousands of other animals served by SPCA Tampa Bay each year, our food bank provides free pet food to the cats and dogs of Pinellas County residents facing an unexpected financial hardship.

Tuesdays, 2-4 p.m.

SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo

Please call ahead (727-324-4999) to ensure we have adequate food stocks to meet your needs. If you are planning to pick up canned food, please bring plastic grocery bags to transport the food home.

* If you need food for animals other than dogs and cats, please let us know so we can stock it at Pebbles Food Bank. There is no limit on how frequently you may receive pet food through our pantry. 


The Paul Balle Memorial Pet Food Bank run by SPCA Tampa Bay at Pasadena Community Church

SPCA Tampa Bay provides pet food to Pasadena Community Church’s food bank to help pet owners who are facing an unexpected financial hardship. The free pet food is available for the cats and dogs of Pinellas County residents. 

2nd & 4th Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Pasadena Community Church, 227 70th Street South, St. Petersburg  33707

You will be required to register with the church’s human food pantry to receive pet food (need based). Please bring your photo ID. 


SPCA Tampa Bay at Hope Villages of America

The Paul Balle Memorial Pet Food Bank is run by SPCA Tampa Bay and it provides pet food to Hope Village of America’s food bank to help pet owners who are facing an unexpected financial hardship. The free pet food is available for the cats and dogs of Pinellas County residents once per month. 

1st & 2rd Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30-2:30 p.m.

Hope Village of America, 700 Druid Rd, Clearwater

You will be required to register with the human food pantry to receive pet food (need based). Please bring your photo ID. Only eligible to receive food once per month.


SPCA Tampa Bay at Positive Impact St. Pete

SPCA Tampa Bay provides pet food to Positive Impact St. Pete’s food bank to help pet owners who are facing an unexpected financial hardship. The free pet food is available for the cats and dogs of Pinellas County residents once per month. 

4th Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (noon)

Donate Pet Food

Our food bank relies on donations from our community. If you’d like to help, you can bring wet and dry pet food to support families in need. 

Here are our current food bank needs:

We do not accept grain-free food, opened food, expired food, or prescription food.
