Pet Food Banks

Caring for your pet shouldn’t be a challenge, and we’re here to lend a hand. 

Pebbles Food Bank at SPCA Tampa Bay

Our on-site food bank provides free pet food for dogs and cats and is available to Pinellas County residents in need.

When: Tuesdays, 2-4 p.m.
Location: SPCA Tampa Bay, 9099 130th Ave. N, Largo

Please call ahead: 727-324-4999 to confirm food availability.

  • If picking up canned food, please bring plastic grocery bags.
  • If you need food for pets other than dogs or cats, let us know when you call so we can do our best to have it available.

The Paul Balle Memorial Pet Food Bank run by SPCA Tampa Bay at Pasadena Community Church

SPCA Tampa Bay provides pet food to Pasadena Community Church’s food bank to help pet owners who are facing an unexpected financial hardship. The free pet food is available for the cats and dogs of Pinellas County residents. 

When: 2nd & 4th Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Location: Pasadena Community Church, 227 70th Street South, St. Petersburg  33707

Recipients must register with the church’s human food pantry and present a photo ID.

SPCA Tampa Bay at Hope Villages of America

In partnership with Hope Villages of America, SPCA Tampa Bay provides free pet food for dogs and cats to eligible Pinellas County residents.

When: 1st & 2nd Tuesdays and Thursdays, 12:30-2:30 p.m.
Location: Hope Village of America, 700 Druid Rd, Clearwater

Recipients must register with the human food pantry and present a photo ID. Pet food assistance is available once per month.

SPCA Tampa Bay at Positive Impact St. Pete

Through our partnership with Positive Impact St. Pete, free pet food is available for dogs and cats to eligible Pinellas County residents.

When: 4th Saturday, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. (noon)
Location: Positive Impact St. Pete, 1770 22nd St S, St. Petersburg

Our food bank relies on donations from our community. If you’d like to help, you can bring wet and dry pet food to support families in need. 

Here are our current food bank needs:

We do not accept grain-free food, opened food, expired food, or prescription food.
