SPCA Tampa Bay Alumni – Tango the Rabbit
“[Tango] has represented bunnies by being part of Easter presentations at our children’s school since 2015. He has helped many children learn about bunny care and adoption.”

Tango, formerly known as Rabeeto, hopped on home from SPCA Tampa Bay to Kelly Jay’s family back in 2013 after 124 days (about 4 months) at the shelter. Jay was on the hunt for the perfect bunny for her family and stumbled on Tango while sorting through profiles on PetFinder. When Jay’s family heard that Tango had been at the shelter so long, they knew they had to take him home.
What drew you to adopting Tango? How did you find out about him?
“We were drawn to Tango because I asked which bunnies were at the shelter the longest, Tango was the 2nd longest bunny resident. I found out about him by going on petfinder. He is a big part of our family, we have always had rabbits, but never one this big!”
