SPCA Tampa Bay Among Florida Organizations to Assist in HSUS Rescue

This week SPCA Tampa Bay partnered with The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) and seven other Florida organizations to assist in the rescue of 140 neglected dogs reported to be living in horrible conditions in Dixie County, FL. On Tuesday, SPCA Tampa Bay picked up 21 dogs from a temporary shelter set up near Dixie County by HSUS. 13 of the dogs were transported to a local partner and 8 were brought to SPCA Tampa Bay in Largo.
