DESCRIPTION:The Clearwater Beach Dogs are the alternate identity of the Clearwater Threshers. On the last Friday home game of the month\, Threshers players and staff take the field in Beach Dogs uniforms\, and fans can join in by rocking their favorite Beach Dogs gear. \nBeach Dogs Fridays are dog-friendly! Fans may bring their dog into BayCare Ballpark to enjoy the game. Dogs are welcome on the concourse\, berm\, and in the seating bowl\, but not permitted in sections 114\, 115\, or the Club Level. \nDog tickets are $7 and are available on walk-up. On Friday\, Aug. 21\, all of the dog tickets benefit SPCA Tampa Bay!  \nGates open at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:30 p.m. games.

As part of this nationwide effort to help shelter pets find loving homes\, adoption fees will be completely waived for ALL available pets. \nSaturday\, Aug. 29 | Gates open at 9 a.m. | Adoptions processed until 5 p.m.\n*All adoptions are first come\, first served.* \nAvailable pets may include dogs\, cats\, puppies\, kittens\, rabbits\, pocket pets\, reptiles\, birds and more. Every available pet is up-to-date on vaccinations\, spayed/neutered and microchipped. \nWe expect a great turnout from our community! Please anticipate larger crowds and longer-than-usual wait times throughout the day. Our team will be working to help each adopter through the process as smoothly as possible. \nVisitors can also enjoy food trucks and photo opportunities throughout the day. \nWhat to Expect: \nAdoption Requirements \n\n	Adopters must be 18 or older with a valid photo ID.\n	A valid email address is required.\n	All adoptions are completed digitally.\n	You’ll receive online access to your new pet’s records.\n	Post-adoption support is included.\n\nAdopting a Dog When You Have a Resident Dog \nAlready have a dog at home? We recommend bringing them with you! A dog-to-dog introduction can help ensure a successful match before you finalize an adoption. \nBefore you arrive: \n\n	Bring a family member or friend who can stay with your dog while you tour the kennels and meet available pets.\n\nAt the shelter: \n\n	Meet our available dogs and choose one you’re interested in.\n	Spend some time getting to know them and learning what our team knows about their personality and needs.\n	Our staff will guide you through a dog-to-dog introduction with your resident dog before finalizing the adoption.\n\nClear the Shelters is a national initiative in partnership with NBCUniversal Local\, and the pet adoption and donation campaign that helps find loving homes for animals in need.
