SUMMARY:Great Connections Spring Fling! at Great Explorations
DESCRIPTION:HOP into spring with us!  This month\, Excellerated Teaching Academy\, and the Early Learning Coalition of Pinellas County will be joining Great Ex for a wonderful spring celebration with a visit from the Big Bunny\, an egg hunt\, basket decorating\, and lots of love from pocket pets brought in by SPCA Tampa Bay!\n \n**Although this is a sensory friendly event\, we still encourage guests to bring additional sensory support (ie. noise cancelling headphones\, a favorite stuffed animal)**\n \nGreat Connections is now a free program all thanks to Guardian Trust.\n \nOn the second Sunday of every month\, Great Explorations Children’s Museum will close to the general public and open for families with special needs to come and enjoy Great Connections\, a sensory-friendly event. Great Explorations will modify lights\, sounds\, and provide a “cool down” room for families who need to take a break. Each month\, the program will offer new stimulating activities and themes for everyone to enjoy.

DESCRIPTION:The Rotary Club of St. Petersburg is happy to announce the 3rd Annual Salty Sands Run/Walk on Saturday\, April 22\, 2023 in beautiful Fort Desoto Park! \nThis year’s 10k Run\, 5K Run & 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk has a new twist! You to choose the winner! \nRunners will be asked to select from one of three charities at registration\, including SPCA Tampa Bay! The three local non-profits will compete to win a percentage of the event proceeds. \nRunners will be asked to select their charity of choice at registration\, and bonus points will be awarded to an organization if a registered participant places in the timed 5k or 10k races. \n*The 1-mile walk/run is not timed\, so there will be no extra points allocated to that race.
